Why I am convinced most of our students have done extremely well in the first round at Westminster (4+)?

The Westminster 4+ Assessments are well underway.

Several of our CMT students have already been to their 4+ assessment at Westminster.

I’ve not had feedback from all clients but I’ve had feedback from most clients.

FYI - this is not some close guarded secret. I knew exactly what was going to come up in the first round (and it’s exactly what did come up!) and I know exactly what is going to come up in the second round two! Also, it’s really not important what will come up. So stop fixating on this. What is important is how your child will a)complete the tasks and b) behave during both rounds.

And that is exactly what we prepare our CMT students to be able to go in and demonstrate and do! Very, very simple (not easy!).

Of course, we have had some hiccups along the way. But for now this is all very sensitive information and I will not be discussing these things here. But understand clearly that even though you may prepare your child for the length of time needed, that you really don’t know how they will be on the day of a 4+ Assessment. That is 100% in no one’s control.

Here is why I am totally and 100% convinced that most of our students have done extremely well in the first round (as in I will be expecting a lot of ‘He/she has passed round 1 at Westminster!’ messages on the 27th of November…

All of our students who prepared for Westminster, were thoroughly prepared for at least 9 months at the point of attending the first round. At the point of attending the second round, they will have had the full 12 months of assessment preparation.

That alone tells me that my results will be far better than last year. I was completely honest about our CMT results (not all agencies are sadly!) but it definitely put some of you off. Well, it shouldn’t have. Most of those clients who prepared for Westminster had less than 3 months of assessment preparation and I no longer offer that option any more! Most of those clients dabbled in my work. They dipped their toe in but weren’t really that interested in doing the work needed to be done. Most of those clients cancelled their lessons last minute and went on holiday for a month at Christmas.

Time is power in the 4+ Assessments. In any assessment. So if you are preparing for 2028 entry and beyond, the time to get started truly is now. Well, it was actually in September 2026 but there is no time like the present.
