South Hampstead 4+ Round 1: How did your daughter get on?
/The South Hampstead 4+ Assessments started this week (wc 2/11/26) and we have already had several of our girls attend their first round assessments. I am yet to hear from some of my clients who I’m sure will feedback to me later in the week.
I’ve received positive feedback from all of my clients so far and our girls have all been thoroughly prepared to know exactly what to do in and demonstrate to the assessors (the SH school teachers).
All of our girls here at CMT who attended their first round at SH this week have been with us for at least 9 months. That means that for 9 months, our students (and our clients!) have put in the work!
And believe me when I tell you that we have all worked incredibly hard.
We have drowned out the noise and we have laser focused on doing the one thing necessary to prepare for this incredibly challenging 4+ assessment.
We have prepared our girls to the highest possible standards with my exceptional CMT Curriculum Acceleration Programme. Over the course of the 12 months that they will have studied with us to prepare for the South Hampstead 4+ assessment, our girls have mastered the following:
Their communication and language - Our girls are all able to answer up to Level 4 questions beautifully. Not because this comes ‘naturally’ to them but because we’ve practised levels of questioning together for the last year!
Their personal, social and emotional development - Our girls have understood exactly what would be expected of them in this assessment in terms of their personal, social and emotional development and how they show up and portray themselves. This is not acting. This is actually who they are. A delight to teach!
Physical Development - Through hundreds of hours of practise, our girls have mastered their fine and gross motor skills and will have been able to demonstrate this beautifully in the South Hampstead 4+ Assessment.
Literacy - All of our girls who have attended the SH 4+ assessment have mastered their phase2 and phase 3 single sounds and most of them are already reading. All of our girls have mastered writing and drawing to a very high standard for this stage in their development.
Maths- All of our girls have mastered all of the areas of the CMT mathematics curriculum to an incredibly high level.
Understanding of the world - All of our girls have a deep understanding of the world around the and would have been able to demonstrate this beautifully in the first round at South Hampstead.
Art - All of our girls have mastered drawing and creating art to a very, very high standard through hundreds of hours of practising this each week with their parents.
So there you have it.
I know that all of our girls have done so well and I cannot wait to hear the results! Passing round one is great! But what’s far more important is how much progress our students have made.
If you sent your daughter for her round 1 4+ assessment at SH, I wish you all the very best!
