Literacy - All phase 2 and phase 3 phonics known. Beginning to learn the phase 4 phonics. Most digraphs known. Able to read cvc words. Able to read full sentences (for some 4+ assessments this will be the expectation)
Maths - A broad and vast mathematical curriculum covered which includes but is not limited to place value (to 20), addition and subtraction (to and from 10), geometry, measurements, problem solving, reasoning and logic.
Fine motor skills - Very strong fine motor skills need to be demonstrated.
Gross motor skills - Are very important too!
Understanding of the world - A strong understanding of the world around them will be very important.
Questioning - Answering questions to at least a level 4 standard will be very important.
