This will be your chance to truly accelerate your child’s learning in preparation for their 7+ Assessments (2027 entry).

Day 1 - Monday 10th August 2026

Meet and greet and introduction

Comprehension Assessment- Complete a comprehension in timed conditions (this will be emailed to you prior to the Bootcamp) We will read the comprehension and the questions together first and discuss strategies for answering questions together. The comprehension will be emailed to me after the Bootcamp an it will be marked and returned to you with detailed feedback.

Day 2 - Tuesday 11th August 2026

Verbal Reasoning Assessment– Complete a verbal reasoning task in timed conditions. First, we will look at some question types together and I will teach how to answer the more complex question types.

Day 3 - Wednesday 12th August 2026

Maths assessment – Complete a maths assessment in timed conditions. We will firstly do some maths revision in which I will revise and teach some of the trickier parts of the maths assessment. You will receive tailored teaching videos that your child can watch in their own times to truly understand the concepts that I will teach. Complete the maths assessment on Day 3 and email it to me to be marked and for feedback and next steps.

Day 4 - Thursday 12th August 2026

Story writing Assessment – We will plan a story together and the children will then write a story in timed conditions. Receive detailed feedback after the Bootcamp and once you have emailed me a copy of your child’s story.

I will teach your child exactly what is needed in a story for their particular 7+ assessments. Your child will leave this session with clarity and confidence with the full understanding of exactly what is expected of them when it comes to story writing.

I will provide you with a wealth of resources that you can keep long after the Bootcamp is complete so you can continue to practise story writing with your child.

Day 5 - Friday 13th August 2026

Non Verbal Reasoning Assessment - Complete a non- verbal reasoning assessment in timed conditions. First, we will look at some question types together and I will teach the more complex non Verbal reasoning question types so that your child will fully understand how to answer these types of questions in their 7+ assessments.

Grammar, vocab and spelling Assessment – Complete a SPAG test in timed conditions.

Days 6 and 7 - Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2026

This will be your chance to complete all of the tasks from the week.
